


Situation: Corel sought to widen exposure for its Painter products and to engage existing Painter users online.
Solution: Magnet Media was hired to conceive, execute and track a series of design, development and communication campaigns across Facebook and Twitter on behalf of the software. Thanks to rigorous engagement, a focused editorial strategy, best practice Facebook page design and social media feed optimization, our campaign attracted highly targeted users and increased engagement and interaction across all social media platforms. In addition to increasing Facebook likes and Twitter followers, our high quality tutorials bolstered community engagement and drove traffic to trial downloads of the Painter software. These tutorials, which were produced in-house, were integrated into the campaign through a custom-built Facebook landing tab.
At the conclusion of our quarter-long campaign, Corel was enjoying a significant increase in targeted social media followers (56% more Facebook likes, 40% more Twitter followers), a massive uptick in brand interaction (30,000%!), and tens of thousands of new trial downloads of their Painter software.
